Invitation to participate

The Kazakh-German University in Almaty invites you to apply for an educational trip to study the best practices for the use of renewable energy in Kazakhstan, from August 21-28, 2020 with a visit to the renewable energy facility in Kazakhstan.

As part of an educational trip, students are given a unique opportunity to study objects using renewable energy sources (RES), key organizations for the development of renewable energy in Kazakhstan, and also apply this knowledge to their own research.

The main purpose of the trip is to visit renewable energy facilities in Kazakhstan, which will allow you to study solar, wind and hydroelectric power plants in practice, better understand their technical and technological features, prepare cases of best practices on renewable energy sources and discuss existing challenges and opportunities for introducing new renewable energy sources within the framework of information meetings.

Who can apply:

  • BA, MA or PhD students, young researchers at universities and institutes;
  • citizens of Central Asian countries studying in Kazakhstan
  • proficient in oral and written Russian.
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage.

The use of the information received during the trip to prepare the thesis of a bachelor or master, scientific article or PhD thesis is the main criterion for selection and advantage.

All expenses for participation in an educational trip are paid by the organizers: air tickets, accommodation, meals and transportation during the trip.

During the trip, the rules of social distance and quarantine measures to maintain the health of participants will be strictly observed.
