Scholarships for the Integrated Water Resources Management Master's Programme

Within the framework of the 2-year full-time program of our master's degree, the UNESCO Department of Water Resources Management implements international grants (scholarships) for education and residence in Almaty. International grants are provided by the following organizations:


1) The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provides 6 scholarships for IUVR undergraduates - 1 scholarship for each Central Asian country and Afghanistan, which fully cover the costs of studying at the Kazakh-German University for 2 years (900,000 tenge/annually), and also provides foreign students with a scholarship for living in Almaty. To receive a scholarship from DAAD, the candidate must be provided with a motivational letter.
2) The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) provides 6 scholarships - 1 scholarships for each Central Asian country and Afghanistan, which fully cover the costs of studying at the Kazakh-German University for 2 years (900,000 tenge/annually), and also provides all students with a scholarship for living in Almaty. To receive a scholarship from the SDC, a candidate must have a nomination letter from the organization in which he works.
