OPEN CALL – TRAINING ON RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR WOMEN FROM CENTRAL ASIA | Deadline to apply: February 20, 2023

DKU and the OSCE invite interested young women energy specialists and students from Central Asia to apply for a 5-day training on renewable energy (RE), energy transition, and energy efficiency.

The course will:
• increase your knowledge of green energy technologies, renewable energy and energy efficiency
• help you gain practical insights into the clean energy sector through an onsite visit to a renewable energy facility in Kazakhstan
• expand your access to industry experts and potential employers

Dates: April 17 – 21, 2023
Venue: DKU, 173, Nazarbayev st., Almaty, Kazakhstan
Language: English, Russian (simultaneous translation)

Number of participants: 12 women from CA countries will be selected.
Participation in the training is free of charge. All costs related to travel, accommodation and meals of selected participants will be covered by the organizers.

Eligibility:
• Nationals of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, or Afghanistan residing in Central Asia
• Women studying/working in the renewable energy, energy efficiency, or energy infrastructure, environment or #STEM field
• Age: between 18 and 35 years old
• Wish and ability to participate fully in the training
